St. John United Church of Christ

	St. John United Church of Christ provides a picture perfect setting for your wedding. Whether it be flowering fields for the spring, or the collage of colors from our autumn arbors, the natural beauty surrounding our church allows for a variety of memorable photographs.
If you're looking to keep your guests out of the summer sun (or in from the winter weather), the church itself makes for a spectacular setting. While the church can accomodate most weddings by seating on the first floor, the balcony allows for larger cermonies. It also gives your photographer a better opportunity (without obstructing the view of your guests) for capturing some of the key moments in your wedding like the exchange of rings or lighting the unity candle.
	Why settle for acoustically flawed arrangements? The CD on your brother's boom box may sound like the wedding march, but it will not carry you down the aisle the way Mendelssohn can on a real pipe organ. St. John is home to one of our nation's musical treasures. This historical artifact still resonates with the same beauty and strength it first echoed in 1885.
Conveniently located in the heart of the Northwest suburbs, your guests will have no trouble spotting the St. John steeple. We're situated on the corner near the major roads of Algonquin (IL 62) and Roselle.

For your out-of-town guests, a number of nearby hotels offer a range options. From economical to luxurious accomodations, the local villages of Schaumburg, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, and Arlington Heights provide hotels for every fancy. Many of the hotels provide complimentary transportation to and from O'hare.

A number of banquet facilities in the area give you more flexibility with where you want to hold your reception. If you're marrying in the NW suburbs, St. John is an easy drive (or carriage ride) to any one of these options.
